13 Terrifying Tales of Black Friday Gone Horribly Wrong

Ah, Black Friday. The day millions of people shuffle into local shopping malls and stores, still in a haze from their Thanksgiving feasts, and set out in search of the best deals of the year. Retailers are notorious for advertising prices designed specifically to entice sleepy-eyed shoppers out of bed before dawn, stand outside in the cold waiting for doors to open and then fight their way inside to be among the relatively few customers lucky enough to get their hands on those advertised items.

While most retailers advertise “door busting” deals for Black Friday, there are a few retailers that are particularly prone to becoming the scene of horrifying Black Friday madness (ahem….Walmart….ahem). That said, no retail establishment is really immune to the madness that can be unleashed when tired, tryptophan-fueled (and possibly still slightly intoxicated) shoppers rush through the doors in the wee hours of the morning on Black Friday.
