From repairing split ends and putting an end to dull, dry skin, to getting thicker, fuller lashes, these beauty tricks will make you wonder how you ever slept a night without them. 7. Wake Up to Smooth Hands and Feet

If you struggle with dry hands and feet, take a few minutes before bed to slather on a moisture-rich cream or thick moisturizer (Vaseline works great!) and cover with cotton socks on your feet or thin cotton gloves on your hands. You may need a few nights to get used to the feeling of socks or gloves and moisturizer on your hands or feet, but you’ll definitely wake up to soft, supple skin with minimal effort! Just remember to always use 100 percent cotton socks or gloves to avoid rashes or irritation.

After you brush your teeth, dip your toothbrush into some plain baking soda and brush your teeth again with the baking soda alone. This will act as a mild abrasive to polish your teeth and remove stains, leaving you with a whiter, brighter smile. While this can also be done during the day, you should always wait at least an hour to eat after polishing your teeth, so doing this before bed tends to be more convenient. You should only polish your teeth with baking soda once a week, by the way. Doing it more often can damage the enamel and lead to dental problems later on.

You may already use a rich moisturizer at night, but a fairly new skincare product on the market goes even further in preventing and reducing fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep. Sleeping masks are the latest in skincare from Asia, and are applied over your regular moisturizer right before you go to sleep for the night. Remove the mask in the morning when you wash your face, and enjoy supple, healthy, younger looking skin overnight!

All that tossing and turning throughout the night causes breakage, tangling and frizz, but switching out your old, cotton pillowcases for sleek satin ones can eliminate the problem. The satin allows your hair to glide over it, which will minimize any damage during the night. As a result, you’ll wake up with smoother, healthier hair.
