Is He Into You? 7 Body Language Signs to Look For

Aside from asking outright and potentially feeling humiliated as he tells you how much he likes you “as a friend,” knowing whether or not that cute guy at the gym or the library is into you can be tricky. If only there were some way to know without actually asking him, right? Good news! Paying close attention to the body language the object of your affection uses around you can be quite telling when trying to figure out if he’s really into you. Check out the seven body language signs below!

7. His Pupils are Dilated

This is one he has basically no control over, but keep in mind that lighting conditions can affect the dilation of the pupils, as well. If his pupils are dilated in a well-lit place, however, this could be a good sign that he’s definitely into you. Why? Pupil dilation is an automatic response caused by the brain when a person is attracted to something. Don’t start planning your wedding just yet, however. Pupil dilation can occur for other reasons, as well.

6. His Eyebrows are Raised

If he’s interested in what your saying, his eyebrows will likely raise slightly, which most people do naturally when interested in something. This shows that he’s alert and paying attention to what you’re saying or doing – all very good signs that he may very well be into you. On the flip-side, however, there’s no rule that says he’s necessarily into you romantically just because he thinks you’re interesting to talk to. Still, this is a pretty good sign that he doesn’t find you completely dull and boring.

5. He Gives You a Full Smile

Most males stop smiling with teeth showing when they’re around five or six years old, so if your guy is flashing his pearly whites, that means he’s feeling really happy about something. Also look to see whether his smile extends past the mouth, lifting the forehead and causing his eyes to squint. If so, he’s definitely enjoying your company and having a great time! Again, not necessarily a sign of wedding bells in the near future, but you can bet that things are going pretty well.
